The Experience

A Segway Adventure is one of our most popular experiences, offering a thrilling and unique way to explore the outdoors!

This 60-minute session is perfect for all skill levels, making it an ideal gift for friends, family or even a fun date idea. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned rider, this experience allows you to master the controls of these exciting machines while enjoying plenty of time to glide around the Segway area.

What to Expect on the Day:

  • Arrival: When you arrive at your chosen location, follow the signposts to the Segway Pod for registration. Complete the necessary paperwork before starting your adventure.
  • Safety Gear: You'll be equipped with essential safety gear, including a helmet, elbow pads and knee pads, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride.
  • Introduction and Training: Begin with a brief introduction to the Segway and its controls. Build your confidence through a few fun games designed to help you get comfortable with the Segway's handling.
  • Guided Tour: Embark on a guided tour through the venue grounds, where your instructor will show you the ropes and point out any obstacles to navigate around.
  • Free Time to Explore: Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll have the freedom to explore the Segway area at your own pace. Experience the thrill of speeding up, making sharp turns and practising your new-found skills.

This adventure offers an exciting blend of instruction, exploration and adrenaline. It’s a fantastic way to spend time outdoors, enjoy some friendly competition and make memories that will last long after the day is done.

Participants must be 134cm tall and weigh at least 45kg (7.1 stone) and no more than 117kg (18.5 stone). This experience is not suitable for pregnant women, or those who suffer from heart disease or epilepsy. All participants must wear the protective items provided to take part in experience and sign a waiver. All dates subject to availability. Surfaces vary from site to site.

The Weather

Extreme weather, ice and snow conditions are the main concerns. Please be aware that the weather can be unpredictable and events do have to be cancelled due to bad weather. We will endeavour to make a decision prior to the event should bad weather be forecast however events can still be cancelled on the event day itself.

Session Length

Your Segway Adventure for Two is for 60 minutes. Please arrive on site a few minutes before starting your experience.

What To Wear

Please dress according to the weather. Dress in comfortable, casual clothes. Skirts are not recommended! Water proofs are recommended in rainy conditions, it is also highly likely your clothes will get dirty during the experience. Please wear sensible footwear, please refrain from wearing loose or unprotective footwear such as flip flops or footwear with heels. Trainers, boots, and securely fastened shoes are fine.
