The Experience
Two can explore Kew Gardens, Royal Botanical Gardens, London’s largest UNESCO World Heritage Site – and enjoy a fascinating day immersed in centuries of science, horticulture and history.
Delve into a tropical rainforest in the iconic Palm House where temperatures reach a steamy 27˚C and travel through ten climatic zones in the contemporary Princess of Wales Conservatory to discover the innovative ways plants adapt to their environments.
Have fun climbing 18 metres high into the treetop canopy to walk along the 200-metre long Xstrata walkway with its stunning views across the Gardens. If the weather isn’t behaving, visit the exquisite Shirley Sherwood and Marianne North galleries which, between them, boast one of the largest collections of paintings in the world dedicated solely to botanical art.
Kew Gardens is also home to Kew Palace, which you can also explore with this Kew Gardens voucher. Kew Palace was the summer residence of King George III and Britain’s most intimate royal residence.
During your visit we recommend stopping past The Hive. An immersive sound and visual experience that encapsulates the story of the honey bee.
