The Experience
You will begin your day trip from Portree with a convenient central location. You'll board a spacious, air-conditioned coach and head out on a sightseeing adventure across the Isle of Skye. Your first stop will be Neist Point, where you can try to spot wildlife or take in the awe-inspiring rock formations of the Quiraing and the towering stone pillar of the Old Man of Storr.

Next up, you will enjoy a scenic drive to the Fairy Pools at the foot of the Cuillin Mountains. Here, you can relax and, if you're feeling adventurous, take a dip in the crystal-clear green waters of the River Brittle. After soaking in the beauty of the natural arches and waterfalls, head to the Talisker Distillery in Carbost, one of the island’s renowned whisky distilleries. You will have free time to purchase a bottle of Talisker's distinctive peaty-smoky single malt Scotch.

Following this, you will choose to either visit Neist Point to spot whales, dolphins, and sharks or explore the hilltop medieval-style Dunvegan Castle. Afterward, make your way to the magical Fairy Glen, a place steeped in local folklore. Stroll among the conical mounds known as Fairy Knowes, listen for the fairies at work, and search for elves in the miniature forests. You can follow a winding path to the top of the fairy castle or navigate the faun’s maze.

The tour will then continue to the Trotternish Ridge, offering breathtaking views of the Quiraing, a landscape of dramatic rock formations and coastal vistas. Finally, your adventure concludes with a visit to the iconic Old Man of Storr, a 200-foot stone pillar featured in films like Ridley Scott’s "Prometheus." Return to Portree with unforgettable memories of your day on the Isle of Skye.
