Travel back in time in Quinta da Cabreda where you'll be comfortably installed in a recently restored stone house and enjoy a private dinner, prepared in iron pots, with a menu of your choice. Take advantage of the two days to walk the paths that wind through the Douro valley adorned with vineyards and enjoy the stunning landscapes that await you.
The Quinta da Cabreira
In 1940, Gabriel de Paiva was the owner of a small apple farm with the Bravo de Esmolfe and Golden apple varieties. Later, his son Alberto de Paiva starts the production and commercialization of the apple overcoming the difficulties of a country still agriculturally undeveloped. During that period, he had to water the apple trees one by one due to a lack of a more efficient method and to preserve the apples and place them in stone shops on top of the straw.
The current owner acquires Quinta da Cabrida in 2010, restoring and preserving the estate's integrity and integrity. Nowadays, they use the most advanced production and conservation methods of the apple that leaves Quinta da Cabrida, arriving at the salespoint with the highest possible quality.
Casa Real Gama
Surrounded by the famous apple and olive trees is Casa Real Gama, also known as Casinha.
Here you will find a relaxing, peaceful, and private environment. A typical Beira house, furnished with a double bed and a mezzanine with beds for three people. Complete kitchenette, bathroom, and shower. Outside there is a terrace with a barbecue grill at your disposal. In the center of the Quinta, an outdoor pool is available seasonally.

The Ancestral Dinner
This experience includes the option to prepare the traditional Portuguese dinner in a three-legged cast-iron pot. These iron pots, used in the past century, were made for preparing meals in the heat of the fireplace. In that period, they were also commonly used for heating water.
At this dinner, there is a commitment of total immersion in Portuguese culture, with an entirely traditional menu and wines from the Douro region so that you can relish with an experience that goes back to the past of Quinta da Cabrida and the old practices once used by Portuguese people who lived there.
All products included in the dinner are homemade, produced at Quinta da Cabrida or purchased from local merchants.
