The Experience
Why settle for a short flight when you can experience the ultimate aerial journey?
The Big Adventure is a thrilling two-and-a-half-hour cross-country microlight flight that will take you on an unforgettable tour of Northumberland’s most iconic sights.
Your adventure begins with a takeoff from Atheys Moor, where you’ll soar through the skies, covering a vast range of stunning landscapes. Depending on the day's weather and your preferences, we can fly over Hadrian’s Wall to the west, explore the castles along the eastern coast, or take in the sweeping countryside from every angle. This extended flight gives you the opportunity to see much more of Northumberland than any shorter tour.
Midway through, we’ll land at another airfield for a brief comfort break and refreshments, giving you a chance to stretch your legs and take in the surroundings. For those feeling adventurous, you can even swap places with the pilot and take control of the microlight yourself on the return journey!
