The Experience
Begin your adventure in a sheltered harbour, practising basic paddle strokes in sit-on-top kayaks.
Once confident, head out along a breathtaking stretch of coastline. Paddle beneath towering sea cliffs, navigate through rock gardens, sea stacks, arches and majestic caves. Keep an eye out for grey seals, pods of porpoises and a variety of seabirds, including fulmars, cormorants, gannets, rock pipits and occasionally guillemots and razorbills. The abundance of wildlife is truly astonishing.
Session Times
Morning: 09:00 – 12:30
Afternoon: 12:30 – 17:00
Please arrive 10 minutes before your activity start time.
Experience Level
Perfect for beginners. Our stable and easy-to-control sit-on-top kayaks ensure a safe experience. Even if you end up in the water, our safety equipment will keep you afloat. Comfort in deep water is helpful, but no swimming ability is necessary.
Age Restrictions
Our age limits are flexible. For younger participants, please contact us before booking. All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Equipment Provided
All specialist kit and equipment are included. We will also send you a list of basic items to bring, such as your swimwear and a water bottle.
Meeting Point
Meet us at Llanungar, near Solva. Directions will be provided in your booking confirmation. This is where you'll meet your instructors and get kitted up.
Transport
You'll need your own transport to drive to the activity location, which is chosen on the day based on tide, swell, and wind conditions to ensure the best experience.

The Weather
Having a choice of venues means that we can find a sea kayaking spot to suit the conditions and the requirements of the group. However, in extreme weather conditions, kayaking will take place at a sheltered inland location if it is not possible to get onto the sea
Session Length
This is a half day experience and we usually offer a morning and afternoon session. You can expect to spend approximately two and a half hours or so on the water on this kayaking experience.
Numbers
Group sizes vary - but you can be assured that you'll always have an appropriate client to instructor ratio.
Spectators
This adventure activity will take part along the Pembrokeshire coastline. It might be possible to view the activity from some points along the Pembrokeshire coastal path, but this can't be guaranteed. Please contact us for more specific details..
What To Wear
You'll receive a full kit list before your experience - but all you'll need are some trainers that can get wet, a towel, and your bathing suit to wear underneath your winter wetsuit and other kit, which will be provided
