The Experience
Experience the excitement of flying an L-39 Albatros Jet Fighter in Los Angeles, complete with nerve-wracking manoeuvres and expert instruction from our experienced fighter pilots and instructors.
Prepare for aerobatics like those seen in Hollywood movies as you fly high in the sky or skim just above the ground, feeling the powerful acceleration and agility of the L-39 fighter jet. Manoeuvres like rolls, loops and steep ascents will give you a taste of real military training programs, all while ensuring your safety under the guidance of your skilled pilot.
The following maneuvers are part of the flight program:
- Rolls
- Immelmann
- Loops
- Split-S
- Steep ascent
- Dives
- Tail-chase
- Extreme low passes (a few meters above ground)
Upon arrival at the airport, you'll meet your pilot for a briefing where you can discuss the flight program and define your preferences. Once suited up and briefed on safety systems, you'll head to the ramp where the aircraft awaits.
After take-off clearance, you'll have the chance to control the aircraft yourself, performing exhilarating manoeuvres like rolls and loops.
After landing, commemorate your flight with a souvenir photo and receive a certificate of achievement. Then, toast to your fantastic adventure and relish in the memories made during this unforgettable experience.
Vital Information
Each participant will be required to sign a a waiver on the day of the flight. There is no set minimum age but participants should be at least teenagers as they will be doing 90% of the flying. Participants under the age of 18 will need to ae accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will need to sign the waiver on their behalf. Maximum height for participants is 6'6", maximum weight is 250lbs.
The Weather
The experience is weather dependent. If it is not possible to fly, a new date will be arranged for you.
Session Length
Your Jet Fighter Experience California in the L-39 Albatros will take about 45 minutes, however the total experience will be approximately 3 hours, including a flight and safety briefing.
