The Experience
You will meet your guide and receive a brief overview of the adventure ahead, including safety instructions and what to expect before boarding the Rigid Inflatable Boat and hop aboard and get ready for an exciting journey along Cornwall's rugged coastline.
You will speed along the coast, with stops near areas where grey seals are commonly seen so keep your fingers crossed and your cameras at the ready!
You will observe seals bobbing in the water, greeting you from the waves, or basking on nearby offshore islands. If conditions are favourable, you and the group will venture to these islands for closer views.
Also, make sure you keep an eye out for a variety of seabirds, especially during nesting season (mid-April to mid-July), including puffins, guillemots, and razorbills- absolutely fascinating to see!
Don't forget to watch for the possibility of spotting dolphins, adding to the excitement of your wildlife safari.
After all the excitement, you will return to shore and recap your adventure with your guide, discussing the wildlife and landscapes you've encountered.

The Weather
The weather may affect the boat being able to run, however this happens in rare circumstances. It's best to check with the location the day before your experience is due to take place, especially if it is bad weather.
Session Length
Boarding is at 19:30 for a 19:45 departure and you will return back to Westminster Pier at approximately 22:45.
Numbers
This voucher is valid for one person although there will be other people enjoying the cruise with you. It is possible to book in more people for this experience, subject to availability, please contact us for more details.
Spectators
Passengers must hold a valid voucher for the safari but spectators are welcome to wave you off from the river bank.
What To Wear
Please dress comfortably for the weather. Inwinter please wear waterproofs and waterproof flat shoes/boots. During the summer, it is advised to apply suncream and wear a sun hat.
Availability
Your guided seal tour will run from Monday - Sunday at 4PM.
