The Experience
Experience an unforgettable day behind the controls of military hardware.
This Full Day Tank Driving Experience is the only event of its kind in the UK, offering a full day of hands-on military action. Across six activities, you'll drive four operational fighting vehicles and take part in unique weaponry and survival challenges.
Start with two immersive driving missions: command the British Abbot self-propelled gun and the 432 APC, followed by the Springer ATV and the Stormer SAM vehicle - both still in active service.
Away from the track, you’ll test your aim with a double-barrel shotgun and fire 17th-century flintlocks under canvas. You’ll also explore a vast firearms collection with a former sniper or join a survival training session led by an ex-commando.
Drivers are split into teams and rotated through the day. You’ll be scored on both driving and shooting, with the top performer earning the honour of crushing a car in the mighty Chieftain Main Battle Tank.
The day begins at 8am, includes a hot lunch in the Mess Hall, and ends with the car crush finale. Spectator tickets are available and include an APC ride and lunch.
Take the challenge - this is the ultimate tank experience!
