The Experience
An incredible half day Formula 4 experience at the Circuit du Luc in Provence, France. This 2.2 km circuit has wide curves, 2 long straights and tight turns. It is an ideal place to drive a Formula 1. This driving course is aimed at all people, beginners or confirmed, wishing to discover the driving of an F4 on the circuit.
During this half day, you will follow all the essential steps before realizing your dream and driving a Formula 4 single-seater.
Here is the program for the half day:
8:00 - Equipment (crash helmet, balaclava, racing suit, racing boots and gloves) and driver briefing
8:45 - 2 discovery laps of the circuit
9:00 – 11:00 - 2 series of 8 laps in F4 Mygale (170 hp) equipped with: paddle shift, on-board radio, on-board camera (with speed, brake and accelerator data) data acquisition. The first series is carried out behind a pace car, the second is in free driving followed by radio.
11:45 a.m. or 5:15 p.m. - AGS workshop visit
All our half days require at least 6 pilots for local and individual monitoring.
At least 2 driving coaches will be present during your day, they will give you feedback in several forms:
- Theoretical: Indoors or on the track with paper supports
- Techniques: In the pits, just after your driving sessions for more precise and individualized feedback
- Data: By exploiting the data extracted from the single-seater
- Video: By watching your on-board videos with you
Before the start of taxiing, a briefing of about 10 minutes details the theory of single-seater piloting.
Throughout your course, an instructor provides advice based on your individual performance.
This offer includes :
The rental of the circuit (equipped with video surveillance), the safety device (doctor, marshals, intervention vehicle), the complete equipment of the driver (helmet, balaclava, boots, overalls), technical and educational supervision ( BPJEPS instructor pilot), the provision of AGS infrastructure and vehicles (stands, F4 changing rooms, showers, etc.).
Vital Information
The participant must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
He must declare that he is in good health and that he is not under medical treatment which impairs driving.
Anyone who is suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to participate in the experiment.
The participant agrees to scrupulously respect the safety and conduct conditions that will be set out to him during the information sessions and by his supervisor throughout the activity.
The participant agrees to accept that in the event of going off the track with material damage, the supervisor will terminate the participation of the person, without the latter being able to claim any reimbursement. Article 9 (refer to deposit conditions) will also be fully implemented in this case.
The Weather
In the event of bad weather conditions; snow, heavy rain, ice, the experience may be cancelled. In this instance the experience will be resheduled.
Session Length
The experience lasts half a day: from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Numbers
You will share this experience with other participants. This voucher is valid for 1 person.
Spectators
Up to 4 people can accompany you to the venue but this is charged at 49€ per person. They will be able to attend the tour of the venue, will gain access to the track and hospitality suite and can enjoy the welcome breakfast, lunch, snacks and champagne with you.The presence of children under 10 is strongly discouraged on the circuits. All children should be accompanied by an adult.
What To Wear
We advise you to dress comfortably. All safety equipment will be provided.
Availability
This driving course runs on selected dates. There are around 40 - 50 dates from March to November, mostly from Monday to Friday. Please contact us for more information.
