The Experience
Dreaming of soaring through the skies? This Flying Lesson in Ayrshire is the perfect opportunity to get a taste of what it’s like to pilot an aircraft. Whether you’re curious about learning to fly or considering a Private Pilot's Licence, this hands-on experience will answer your questions and give you the thrill of being in control of a plane.
Your experience begins with a pre-flight briefing, where a qualified instructor will introduce you to the basics of aviation, covering safety, the aircraft controls and what to expect during the flight. Once you're prepared, it's time to climb into the cockpit and get ready for takeoff.
During the 45-minute flight, you’ll take the controls under the supervision of your instructor, flying over the stunning Ayrshire countryside. Feel the excitement as you navigate the skies, taking in the breathtaking views from high above.
After the flight, enjoy a post-flight debrief, where your instructor will provide feedback on your flying skills and answer any additional questions you may have. To mark the occasion, you'll also receive a Certificate of Aviation, a perfect memento of your first step into the world of flying.

Vital Information
Minimum age is 16 years old. The maximum weight allowed is 17 stone (108kg). Diabetics and those with heart conditions may be required to produce a medical certificate. If in doubt, please consult your doctor.
The Weather
All flights are dependent on weather conditions and operational requirements of the airport.
Session Length
Your session will last for approximately 1-2 hour. This includes your briefing, 45 minutes flight time and a debriefing with an aviation certificate.
Numbers
Flight instructions may be shared. The flight will be with your flight instructor only
Spectators
Feel free to bring your friends and family with you to share your special experience. The Airfield has an excellent café and restaurant on site with good views of the airfield where there is always something interesting to watch and something scrumptious on the menu.
What to Wear
Flying gear (Headsets, Hi-Viz jackets and ear-defenders) will be supplied on site. Casual clothing is advised and we recommend that you wear trousers and flat shoes. (Not sandals or flip-flops!)
Availability
The venue operates 7 days a week from 10am to 4pm, subject to aircraft availability and weather. Simply book your voucher and arrange your date and time!
