This luxury train journey to Edinburgh is an immersive experience with fine dining the focal point on the outward journey to Scotland's capital. A silver service dining experience on board the Northern Belle train, where you'll be served a delightful, tantalising brunch at your immaculately set table.

Sit back in your comfortable armchair and enjoy the luxurious surroundings of the Northern Belle train carriages and watch the ever-changing landscapes on your luxury train journey to Edinburgh.

Upon arriving at Edinburgh, Waverley Station, you'll transfer to Ocean Terminal, Leith, to take your tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia. After being decommissioned back in 1997, the Royal Family’s beloved yacht has been docked at Leith and is open to visitors. It is one of Scotland’s most visited attractions and the best place to start your tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia is at the Visitor Centre. Here you'll learn of the yacht’s rich history before you the Royal Yacht Britannia tour heads over to explore the five main decks. You will have the wonderful opportunity to discover the luxurious State Apartments, royal sleeping quarters and view personal photographs of Her Majesty and her family.

We highly recommend visiting the Bridge of the Royal Yacht Britannia as well as the gleaming Engine Room. After your tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia, there will be some free time for you to explore Edinburgh.

Then it's time to board the Northern Belle train to commence your journey back. A five-course dinner, served with our sommeliers’ selection of house wines is the pinnacle of your inbound journey.
