Animation Team Building Workshop:  

The Experience

Our workshops provide a chance for businesses and organisations to re-discover the joys of plasticine. Using our professional resources and expertise, teams will be taken through the process of creating their own plasticine characters and bringing them to life through animation! Create your own animation for a special campaign or just as a memory video and build up your team spirit. During this workshop participants have the chance to write scripts, make models and sets, animate characters and watch their films back after the process on the big screen. Workshops have a range of positive outcomes for people, including planning and communication skills, developing group work and building self confidence. The workshops also introduce new technical skills through working with digital media, including cameras and ICT equipment. During this amazing experience you will have fun and excitement! It is amazing possibility to spend a day in another world, because every one likes to watch movies and animations, but have to tried to make one by yourself? We promise it is worth it!
Working as a film crew requires unified effort, co-ordination of individual skills and group determination. The fun, hands-on process creates a relaxed atmosphere for colleagues to work together, forming bonds of trust and friendship. Also, unlike many teambuilding events, with animation the client will have something to take away.  All plasticine props and models are the team’s to keep, and of course the animation itself has value; whether it be used as a promotional tool or just as a reminder of the what was accomplished. As an additional service we can also produce a ‘making-of’ video to document the animation process, as well as professionally made posters/calendars featuring the team’s characters.

 

Vital Information

Animation is suitable for people of all ages.  Sessions take place indoors so aren’t dependent on weather and fitness isn’t an issue.  There also isn’t any sitting around with boring PowerPoint presentations.  Working with our professional animators, in tandem with our industry standard equipment and software, teams are able to have fun and create something that represents a genuine achievement.

Session Length

You can choose your session lenght, because we offer workshops for half and full day.
 
- Half Day (3 Hours) – Make your own plasticine character and have a short taster session in animation, then take your character home. 
 - Full Day (7 Hours) – Storyboard, sculpt your character and produce your own short animation video.  Take your character home on the day, and then receive edited videos after event on your own USB stick.
